How to get here:
By car:
On the main road from Dar-Es-Salaam to Arusha, the turn off is at Mombo village next to Usambara Filling Station, driving through spectacular mountainous scenery on a beautiful winding paved (Tarmac) road.
The journey from Mombo is 32km and takes approximately 45 minutes, passing through Soni with the ability to catch a glimpse at the stunning Soni Falls and depending on the time of the year, driving through the low passing clouds under an avenue of jacarandas.
Once in Lushoto, follow the left road after Panone Petrol Station where you will see our sign on the left. Keep following our signage to the hotel.
By bus:
There are bus connections from all bigger cities, to Lushoto. If there is no direct bus to Lushoto available, we advise you to take a bus to Mombo. From Mombo it takes 1 hour in a Dala-Dala. You can ask the driver to drop you off at Lawns Hotel turn off or you can take a taxi from the bus stand for 5,000 TZS.
